Our guests come from Roeselare, Kortrijk, Bruges, Ghent, and all over Flanders because they do not find the combination of true privacy and personal service in large wellness hotels.
Many wellness hotels and B&B's use the word "private" for what is actually shared wellness – a sauna you share with other guests during a pre-arranged time slot. At Herenhuis Izegem, private really is private:
One group per session – you share the space only with your own partner, family, or friends (2 to 6 people). No one else has access during your time slot.
Private changing room, lounge area with bar, and outdoor terrace with jacuzzi.
No overlap with other guests – 30 minutes are spent cleaning and preparing for the next group between each session.
Your choice of music via a fixed iPad – your atmosphere, your pace.
Swimwear optional – since you are alone, you choose for yourselves.
Only B&B guests can book wellness on Fridays, Saturdays, and during school holidays (last-minute bookings possible 1 week before arrival). On other days, private wellness is also available for non-overnight guests.
Our private wellness area was completely renovated in October 2022 and offers everything you need for deep relaxation:
Luxury Finnish sauna with the option to pour eucalyptus over the water – cleanses the skin, relaxes muscles, improves blood circulation.
Infrared sauna – the natural heat warms the body from within, soothes back and neck pain, lowers blood pressure, and stimulates calorie burning (30-minute session = approx. 600 cal).
Hammam (steam bath) - moist heat that clears the airways, makes the mucous membranes supple, and relieves muscle tension.
Heated indoor pool - perfect for refreshing laps between sauna visits.
Covered outdoor Jacuzzi on the terrace – with massage jets and lounge chairs. Operates all year round, even in winter.
Scrub machine – after a sauna or hammam, rub yourself with ice flakes to cool down. Stimulates blood circulation.
Bucket shower + rain shower with massage function - the cold plunge opposite of the heat.
Lounge area with bar - fruit water, fruit, tea, and coffee included. Wines, cava, champagne, and soft drinks payable on site.
A private wellness session lasts 2 hours as standard in combination with an overnight stay (extendable to 3 hours subject to availability, + €60). The brunch breakfast is extensive: daily fresh breads and viennoiseries, savory dishes, sweet treats, fresh juices, and coffee or tea.
On weekends (and public holidays), you will be served the extensive weekend brunch with seasonal bites at your table. You can also order additional bites on-site during the week. To make the experience even more festive, you can order an extra glass of Cava or Champagne.
Would you like to expand your package? Add dinner in our atmospheric restaurant (on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays). Chef Virginie cooks refined seasonal dishes, and bartender Yves opens with homemade cocktails. Everything in one location – no need to go outside.
Choose from 4 stylish B&B rooms, from the Marraine suite for 5 people to the intimate Boho Chic double room or the atmospheric Gentleman room. The spacious Héritage suite is a real treat if you’re looking to spend some quality time.
Public wellness centers (Thermae, Aquadôme, Wellnessland) have their charm but also mean: shared saunas, crowds at peak times, mandatory swimwear or nudity, time limits for facilities, and no place for intimate conversations. With private wellness including an overnight stay at Herenhuis, you choose:

The additional cost compared to a day at a public wellness center is surprisingly small when you calculate the value per person and take into account the overnight stay and the brunch breakfast.

Our "wellness with overnight stay" and "private wellness with overnight stay" refer to the same package – the wellness is always private with us. We use both terms because customers use both search terms. One night B&B + brunch + 2 hours private wellness, all-in from €295 for 2 people.

Absolutely. Many of our guests book it for birthdays, wedding anniversaries, marriage proposals, or as a Christmas or Valentine's gift. Gift vouchers are valid for 2 years and can be ordered via our webshop – delivered directly to your inbox.
Yes, but the weekend is reserved for B&B guests staying overnight. Non-overnight guests can book any remaining available weekend times one week prior to the planned day via our last-minutes page.
No problem. You don't have to use all the facilities. Many guests mainly use the swimming pool, the jacuzzi, and the hammam (milder than the Finnish sauna). The infrared sauna is milder than a traditional sauna.
No. We have a spacious bar with fruit juice, soft drinks, wine, cava, and champagne. These are paid for on-site upon check-out. Additional drinks can be ordered in advance via the confirmation email.
A standard B&B stay includes only the room and brunch breakfast. With this package, you get 2 hours of private wellness included on top of that. Cheaper per person than booking both separately.
